Water & Environment Media Network Uganda
WEMNET-Uganda is a network of journalists and media practitioners in Uganda working and highlighting issues affecting the environment. It was officially registered on the 2nd day of September 2013 under Certificate registration number 171827 by a group of environmental journalists, writers and activists as an independent, non-partisan and not for profit organization. It seeks to create secure uncensored platforms for journalists and writers to promote environmental awareness through writing, publishing and informing educating the citizenry who also utilize the platform to highlight the various environmental abuses and demand for accountability and good governance.
